11 Nov Supporting Our Community: The Whipps Food Drive
Whipps, Inc. Launches Community Food Drive to Support Franklin County Families
As many of you know, recent federal cutbacks have caused several assistance programs to pause or shut down entirely. With many families in our region struggling to meet basic needs Whipps, Inc. is stepping up to help. Because caring for our community is a part of our foundation.
Introducing the Whipps Food Drive
Whipps has recently made the following contributions to support local food programs:
- $5,000 to the Salvation Army Food Pantry
- $5,000 to the Orange Food Pantry
- $3,000 to the Athol High School Food Pantry
Introducing the Whipps Food Drive
These donations are part of our ongoing mission to strengthen and uplift the communities where we live and work. Now, we’re inviting our entire team to join in. To build on these efforts, Whipps is having an internal Food Drive to benefit the Franklin County Community Meals Program and the Worcester County Food Bank, organizations that provides vital food assistance to families across our region.
The programs have specifically requested the following items:
- Pasta
- Rice
- Canned tuna
- Cereal
- Granola bars
- Pasta sauce
- Canned fruit
- Canned vegetables
- Peanut butter
- Canned beans
How You Can Help
If you’re able to contribute, please drop off donations in Alison’s old office (across from Mary Sunshine 😊😊)anytime during the month of November.
Every contribution, large or small, makes a real difference. And if you’re not in a position to give right now, that’s perfectly okay—your support and encouragement still mean a lot.
Together, We Make an Impact
Community has always been at the heart of Whipps, Inc. Whether through innovation in our industry or compassion in our outreach, we’re proud to stand alongside our neighbors in times of need.
