Whipps, Inc. was founded through the dedication and vision of George and Pauline Whipps, along with the strong team they built over the years. Their guidance and leadership continue to influence us today, laying the foundation for our ongoing success. It all began with an innovation George Whipps brought to his previous employers, eventually leading to the creation of the Cast Iron Sluice Gate brochure. After patenting his design, he began producing his water control gates. The 800 Series brochure marks the inception of our modern designs. As Whipps transitioned away from cast iron gates, we have focused on providing high-quality products with long lifespans and low leakage rates. We have continuously improved our manufacturing methods, enhancing the performance of our equipment while reducing costs for our customers. Whipps, Inc. takes pride in being a leader in the industry.
