One of the special cases required by a few previous customers led Whipps to manufacture a Multi-Leaf Water Gate. This design transforms the typical slide into one that consists of two or more plates sliding behind one another. As one slide rises, the other is pulled behind it. The frame is also modified to ensure leakage rates below AWWA standards. These features allow the slide to open, close, and lower to a fraction of its original height, enabling water to flow over.
